Silverstein Properties Regional Center
Silverstein Properties Regional Center LLC ("SPRC") is an affiliate of Silverstein Properties, Inc. and is located in Downtown Manhattan. SPRC provides opportunities for international investors to fund projects that are anticipated to enhance the local community, improve the economy and create jobs to satisfy the requirements of the EB-5 Program.
SPRC was designated as a regional center by USCIS on April 2, 2014 and will primarily be affiliated with projects that are developed by affiliates of Silverstein Properties, Inc.
What is a Regional Center?
In 1992, Congress created an EB-5 visa category that sets aside 3,000 visas each year for foreign entrepreneurs who invest in commercial enterprises affiliated with "designated regional centers." Regional center designations are granted by USCIS and investors in a project affiliated with a designated regional center can count both "direct" and "indirect" jobs for purposes of the EB-5 Visa Program. Regional centers may only be affiliated with projects that are located within a certain geographic area.

Mr. Silverstein is a member of the New York Bar and a Governor of the Real Estate Board of New York, having served as its Chairman. He has served as Chairman of the Realty Foundation of New York.
A 1952 graduate of New York University, Mr. Silverstein served as Vice Chairman of the NYU Board of Trustees, where he continues to serve as member of the Board of Trustees for the New York University Langone Medical Center. He is the Founder and Chairman emeritus of the advisory board of the NYU Real Estate Institute. As a Professor of Real Estate, his “Silverstein Workshop” became one of the most attended and informative educational sources for learning real estate development and investment analysis.
Mr. Silverstein donates his time and resources to support many philanthropic endeavors. He has served as Chairman of the Board of UJA-Federation. He is a founding trustee of the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York and has served as treasurer of National Jewish Health in Denver.
Mr. Silverstein contributes his time and resources to organizations that are dedicated to education and medical research, meeting humanitarian needs and supporting the arts. Mr. Silverstein currently serves as a board member of the New York Philharmonic. He is a classical music enthusiast, a passionate yachtsman and a dedicated New Yorker. Larry and Klara Silverstein have been married for fifty seven years and have three children and one son-in-law, three of whom are executives at Silverstein Properties. X
Prior to joining SPI, Mr. Siri was the CFO of a privately held real estate company whose focus was to own, develop and manage private label hotel brands, residential and mixed use properties; the CFO and member of the investment committee of Seavest Inc. a real estate management firm that developed, financed and operated real estate and healthcare properties across the United States with a portfolio of more than 2.0 million square feet; and, was the Chief Accounting Officer and Director of El Ad Group, Ltd., a real estate company with assets totaling approximately $4.5 billion. Mr. Siri also worked for approximately 10 years with Ernst & Young, as a senior manager in the real estate group.
Mr. Siri is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. X
Prior to joining Silverstein Properties, Mr. Grasso worked in the portfolio management group at ING Clarion Capital. Mr. Grasso’s experience spans all property types in addition to capital market expertise including equity syndications, CMBS, CDOs, and high yield whole loans. Mr. Grasso holds a Bachelors of Science in Finance and Accounting from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. X
