Silverstein Properties, Inc. (“SPI”) is a New York-based real estate investment and development firm. Founded by Larry Silverstein in 1957, the firm develops high-quality projects in the commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors that create value for investors and improve the quality of life for tenants.

Silverstein Properties is leading the 21st century renaissance of Lower Manhattan through its redevelopment of the World Trade Center. Over $20 billion dollars has been invested into the redevelopment of the World Trade Center and the surrounding neighborhood, which has helped create one of the most lively, active, and green 24/7 communities in the world. The project has been described as the most visible and complex real estate development ever undertaken and has required a heroic effort. Progress continues to be made on the site with 7 World Trade Center opening in 2006, 4 World Trade Center in 2013, 1 World Trade Center, the memorial in 2014, the Transportation Hub in 2015 and the building of 2 World Trade Center due to be completed in 2020, along with the balance of the site under construction for near-term occupancy.

A GLOBAL PRESENCE

In addition to the World Trade Center, the firm’s portfolio of past and present projects are located in the United States, Eastern Europe, Israel and China and includes over 4.0 million square meters of development and acquisition activity. This included the largest Four Seasons hotel in the world – the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort which was completed summer 2014 and other development projects comprising of hundreds of thousands of square meters.
